While summer is quickly approaching (upon us?), we’ve still got a lot of ski-related work to do while looking to next season. This includes planning, as well as updating and conducting equipment maintenance and all regular operational duties. Operations and equipment purchase and maintenance is expensive, and we’re thrilled to announce that we’re recipients of the Parks Foundation Calgary Grant, Embrace the Outdoors, that we’ve used to pay for our volunteer custom-built and designed roller!
Embrace the Outdoors is a grant available through a partnership between @parksfdncalgary and @cityofcalgary and aims to support volunteer-run outdoor organizations through funding. With their help, we can be all the more #yycoutdoors people!
