Over 20 centimeters of snow falling during this storm system combined with thirty hours of volunteer grooming time in two days results in:
Ski trails: All ski trails are soft and have been roller packed, some have been groomed. Track setting and grooming is in progress and may be finished Wednesday if all goes well. EDIT Feb 23rd: all trails were groomed Wednesday, track setting is in on most trails, however we could not finish the track setting due to the automated groomer being uncooperative in the cold on Wednesday afternoon. Snow coverage is good however thin in a few areas, especially where it appears one of our drag groomers scraped the new snow away....
FBSS: The shared fat bike and snowshoe trails are soft. The pink loop was snowmobile and Bachler packed Tuesday afternoon, and part of the brown loop was done as well. Bikers please give the trails some time to harden up, we will post an update when they're good for riding. Snowshoers - it'd be great if you can hop onto the brown loop that starts near the brown wood sheds at the SE corner of the parking lot, we need that snow packed down!
