The cross-country ski trails were trackset and very soft conditions existed during track setting due to the high temperatures. Expect the tracks to be soft today.
The fat bike and snowshoe trails were packed today with a new piece of equipment (the modified Bachelor packer behind a snowmobile). This new packing method will give the trails a nice corduroy finish and will be packed more than in the past.
The snow is rapidly disappearing in all of the usual places due to high temperatures and there was freezing rain overnight. Plan for icy conditions when temperatures are below freezing.
