December 15th: Chinook!

Well just like that we are into the first big chinook of the year...
After such a wintery start to december, the last two days have hit the trails hard.... a lot of snow has melted (back to snow dances it is I guess). Stay tuned on updated conditions once we can get some up-to-date pictures of the trail system.
If you do decide to venture out on the trails, please be mindful of underlying dangers (gravel / rocks / pavement / etc.), as well as leaving ruts in the snow while the temperatures are in the positives; leaving large ruts can be dangerous for others if they freeze into place!
Once it does dip back into the negatives later this week we hope to get back out and see what we can continue to groom, although be mindful that surfaces will be quite icy!
An additional note: there are vehicles ruts just north of the Golf course clubhouse due to some arborist work - please be careful!
In the meantime, let's all wish for more snow!
