There's a nice dusting of snow on top of all the grass at the golf course. Keen skiers are out today, but beware of the fact there is no base of snow to ski on which means skis will go right down to the surface which if it's grass is fine...(except when it's not, new skis are not recommended!). Some areas of the golf course have asphalt and shale cart paths which will permanently damage skis. We will look at trying to update our map to indicate where the asphalt and shale cart paths are for times like this, so skiers can ensure they are staying on grass rather than the cart paths.
